(NewsDakota.com) A night after losing in heartbreaking fashion in nine innings, the Oakes Post 36 American Legion baseball team rebounded with a 3-0 victory in LaMoure Tuesday night against Post 19.

Post 36 (2-5 Class B Southeast Region) managed only one hit in the contest, but Post 19 (4-2) committed a total of four errors in the the loss. 

Grayson Roney earned the victory for Oakes; his first of the season, lasting four innings, allowing two hits, while striking out two. Michael Kelly earned a three inning save, not allowing a batter to reach.

Parker Stemen took the loss for Post 19, with both two unearned runs scored with the lone hit and four strikeouts.
