N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The numbers have been compiled and released after Barnes County participated in an weekend alcohol saturation event.

On Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th, enforcement and patrols were increased. A sobriety checkpoint was held on Saturday. Two were arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, one was charged with minor in consumption.

A total of 63 vehicles were stopped at the checkpoint with two drivers evaluated for impairment. Nineteen total citations were issued.
