(NewsDakota.com) The Hankinson-Fairmount Post 88 American Legion baseball team had little problem earning two Class B Southeast Region victories on Thursday night at Cummings Field; blanking Post 36 8-0 in game one and 10-0 in four and a half innings in game two.
Post 36 (1-5 Southeast Region) only managed four hits over the course of the doubleheader. Grayson Roney was the losing pitcher in the first contest, goining six innings, striking out six. Ethan Zetocha took the loss in game two, lasting just one third of an inning.
Staticially, Matt Kuipers had the best night at the plate, reaching base three times, and had a hit.
