CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Lane Kvien and Trenton Koch are going to the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette, WY in July.     

Trenton Koch just finished his junior year at Valley City High School and this will be his 2nd year going to the National High School Rodeo Finals.

Koch finished 2nd in North Dakota High School Rodeo Association Bull Riding during finals competition in Bowman, ND. He won the first round Friday, he placed 3rd in the second round on Saturday and came off at just around 6 seconds in the Championship Round on Sunday. Koch finished the year in 2nd place for Bull Riding. Last year he finished 3rd in State.

And Lane Kvien also qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals during the North Dakota High School Rodeo competition. The results are listed below:
