JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Over 10% of all Stutsman County voters have made their way to the polls as of 1:05 PM Tuesday afternoon.

June 14th is the North Dakota primary and voters all over the state are voting on issues relative to their area and statewide. According to the latest numbers, 10.8% of all eligible Stutsman County voters have cast their votes. 2,117 voters have either participated in early/absentee voting or have voted today.

Several issues are being voted on across the state, including the hotly contested Republican nomination for North Dakota Governor. In Jamestown, three city council seats are up for election with five candidates running. For the Stutsman County Commission, four candidates are vying for two seats.

Stutsman County voters will be deciding whether or not the State’s Attorney position becomes an appointed position or remains an elected position. Results from the Stutsman County portion of voting will be posted either later tonight or early Wednesday here on NewsDakota.com.
