CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Hilary Clinton enjoyed a historic evening as the Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee, but not in North Dakota.

Bernie Sanders defeated Clinton by a 2 to 1 margin last night at Caucus sites around the state. One of those supporters was Jennifer Cabezas of Valley City.

Vicki Rosenau of Valley City is also a supporter of Bernie Sanders.

But Dan Spiekermeier of Sheldon, North Dakota supports Hilary Clinton.

More than 60 people showed up to the Democratic presidential Caucus last night in Valley City. District 24 Democratic Chairman Justin Sherlock says 7 delegates will support Sanders and 2 delegates will go to Clinton at the National Convention.

40 people supported Sanders and 16 supported Clinton at the Caucus last night in Valley City.
