CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The road to Akron, Ohio for two drivers started on Central Avenue on Saturday, June 4th during the annual Dakota Soap Box Derby in Valley City.

In the Super Stock Division, Hunter Sayler defeated Trinity Nelson in the championship race to advance.

In the Stock Division, Xavier Thomas defeated Braden Olauson in the championship race to advance to the All-American Soap Box Derby Championships July 10-16 in Akron, Ohio.
