CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A newly established group was formed to promote the Greater Barnes County Area.  The IDEAS Group (Issues, Development, Engagement and Strategies) purpose is to actively engage in topics of interest that are important to our growth and development.

Alison Kasowski, Chair of the IDEAS Group said public participation is an opportunity to encourage constructive debate.  She said by working together, we can impact all economic sectors of the community and send positive messages about the good things going on and what has already been accomplished.

Kasowski said, “Valley City is a wonderful community to work and raise a family. The incredible benefits of living here deserve some attention. This group looks forward to working for the Greater Barnes County Area by informing the public and acknowledging ideas to keep improving the quality of life.”
