(NewsDakota.com) The 2016 Dickey County Relay For Life is Friday, June 3 from noon to midnight in Oakes.

Unlike the last several relays that have been held at a school or a track, this year’s relay is being held in downtown Oakes, along 5th Street and Main Avenue.

The theme laps return, starting at 1 p.m., and luminary bags will line the route and later be lighted. The “lap” will be the outline of a cross.
