ND – (NewsDakota.com) Troopers in the North Dakota Highway Patrol’s southeast region will conduct alcohol saturation patrols Friday and Saturday in Cass, Barnes and Stutsman counties.

In 2016, approximately half of North Dakota traffic fatalities were alcohol-related. The North Dakota Highway Patrol uses saturation patrols to deter drinking and driving, in an attempt to reduce the occurrence of alcohol-related crashes, injuries, and deaths.
