ND – (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office was called to a rural Fingal residence (45th St SE) to investigate a suspicious homemade device on May 23rd.

Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin says the object was identified as an explosive/dangerous homemade device. He says the Fargo-Moorhead Bomb Squad assisted Barnes County by detonating the homemade object.

Barnes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in identifying a Toyota or Mazda extended cab white pickup, described as a vehicle of interest in this case.
