N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dr. Larry Woiwode has been Poet Laureate of North Dakota since 1995 and has written multiple genres. On May 15th, he published a new book.

Land of Sunlit Ice is a gathering of Woiwode poems both recent and past. They will be available in a numbered, limited edition chapbook. Each cover will be individually stenciled with hand-set Garamond type printed on a platen press.

Woiwode has received many awards for his writing including the William Faulkner Foundation Award, American Library Association Notable Book, and Cornerstone Best Book of the Year Award. His prose and poetry have appeared in The New York Times and The New Yorker.

Six of his books have been named as notable books of the year. His new poetry book will be available at Amazon.com and NDSU Press.
