N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown presented degrees to graduating seniors during the school’s 110th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7th.
Dr. Irene Paasch spoke at the baccalaureate service. She has a master’s degree from Columbia University and a doctorate from the University of Kansas. She will be retiring this year as the Chair of the Department of Communication.
Scott Bintz, founder of RealTruck.com, delivered the Commencement address. Bintz holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Minot State. Several individuals were inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame. They include Dr. Kimlyn Bender, Jeffrey Frommelt, and Clarice Liechty.
156 students received their bachelor’s degree, along with three students receiving their master’s. 35 students made up the first ever graduating class from the University of Jamestown Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
