CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) University of Jamestown forced a second championship game against Mayville State with a 5-2 win on Sunday in Bracket B of the North Star Athletic Association Conference tournament.

The Jimmies reached the 50 win plateau for the first time in school history with the win. Mayville State falls to 30 and 27. The teams meet again today at 11am. The winner plays top see Bellevue at 2pm today.

Bellevue advanced from Bracket B of the tournament on Sunday by defeating Valley City State 14-6. The season is over for the VCSU Viking baseball team.
