N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Fire crews were called to Eventide in Jamestown Monday morning to the report of a gas leak.
Initial reports say crews from Montana Dakota Utilities were on scene to cap the line. The Fire Department was called out at around 9:20 AM Monday morning to the scene. Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the line was cut due to a construction dig.
A wing of Eventide was evacuated with residents being moved to another part of the facility as a precaution. They have since been returned to the wing. No natural gas odor was found in the building.
27 Firefighters were on the scene for about 15 minutes.
