N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Hong Kong Buffet has once again opened its doors after a kitchen fire forced the closure of the facility.
The buffet, located at 1203 13th Avenue Southwest, was closed after an untimely February 21st fire started in the kitchen. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, but not until after moderate smoke damage occurred inside the building. On Thursday, April 21st, the newly renovated restaurant has opened its doors.
According to the owner of the restaurant, a refrigerator was replaced along with front door glass, light bulbs, food and fans.
