N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liner track and field team competed at the Central Cass Invitational on Monday afternoon. 

The girls team finished in first place with 138 points, while the boys finished in sixth place with 31 points out of eleven teams competing. 

Valley City’s Brienne Roehrich and Becca Thompson finished first and second in the 100 meter hurdles, Grace Ihry finished with the best long jump and Grace Sherr placed second in the 200 meter dash. 

On the boys side for Valley City, Eli Allen placed third in the 100 meter dash with teammate Gabe Brown right behind him in fifth.

The 4×100 meter relay comprised of Braedan Kohn, Erik Milender, Allen and Brown finished in second place.
