N.D. (AP) — Gas prices in North Dakota are more than $2 per gallon for the first time in 119 days.
The AAA daily fuel gauge report released Friday shows the average cost for a gallon of gas at $2.02, which is about a nickel more than a month ago.

The last time North Dakota motorists paid more than $2 a gallon was on Dec. 17.

The statewide average is still 36 cents lower than this time last year and $1.57 lower than two years ago. For the first quarter of the year, North Dakota motorists paid an average price of $1.807, the lowest average for any quarter in 12 years.

The report says gas prices will likely continue to rise.
