(NewsDakota.com) The 2016 North Dakota Class B District 5 Boys Basketball Senior Athlete Of The Year will be playing the sport on the next level.

Lake Region State College announced via their Twitter account Monday that LaMoure-Litchville/Marion senior Drew Thielges will join the Royals next season. 

Thielges, a three sport athlete for the Loboes, finished his high school career with over 1,000 points scored, made the District 5 and Barnes County Boys Basketball tournament teams three times, and was a part of two Class B Region III Championships.

Lake Region State College is based in Devils Lake and is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association.
