(NewsDakota.com) – Former University of Jamestown defensive back Wes Worthen is headed overseas to continue his football career. The Columbus, GA native played the last two seasons of his collegiate career with the Jimmies registering four interceptions.

Worthen has signed to play with the Pilsen Patriots of the Czech League of American Football. He will head overseas on May 3rd, but the season will start on April 23rd.

Worthen participated in the NFL’s regional scouting combine in Minneapolis last month.
