N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Lions Club has been hosting a buffalo feed for the last 27 years and the tradition continued Wednesday, April 6th.

The annual fundraiser helps the Lions Club complete many of their different projects for the community. Club member Dwaine Heinrich stated that the club relies on this fundraiser to assist in their large list of projects.

Jim Lunde, who has been a member of the Jamestown Lions Club for several years, has made his way back from Baker, Montana in order to help out with the event. He pointed out he has missed only one buffalo feed in the last 27 years.

The buffalo feed featured a buffalo roast prepared by the KC Hall in Jamestown. Heinrich stated that this years event was very successful.

The Lions Club will keep all the funds raised from the event local.
