CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) This spring marks the 2nd year the Community Wellness For All program was implemented in Valley City.

Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation Executive Director Andrea Nelson says we are pleased to announce that the foundation received a 3 year commitment to the program from the John Deere Foundation for $75,000.

Nelson says we are working on expanding the program to meet the needs and demands we anticipate in the Valley City area. During the KOVC Voice of the Valley show she talked about one change this year that will to open to assist those who are low income to have financial assistance for the fitness center through the Valley City Parks and Recreation Department.

Remember there is still free programs for youth and adaptive programs.  These programs will transition over when the Wellness Center opens up in Valley City.
