CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office investigated several burglaries, a total of 8 in the southeastern corner of Barnes County.

Sheriff Randy McClaflin says charges have been filed against two juveniles. He says the juveniles entered vacant farmsteads and stole a number of items; most of the stolen items have been recovered.

McClaflin says some of the stolen items were recovered at a pawn shop in Fargo. The burglaries began in October 2015 and stopped in March 2016. Other charges are pending against these juveniles being they are involved in multi county burglaries across the region.
