Mahlke, 74, Jamestown, ND died Monday afternoon March 28, 2016 at Eventide in Jamestown, ND.
Larry Mahlke was born June 21, 1941 at Jamestown, ND the son of Emil Mahlke and Marie (Hall) Mahlke. He received his elementary education in Wimbledon, ND and graduated from the Wimbledon High School in 1959. He entered the United States Army, serving two years before having an honorable discharge.
He and Betty Weisz were married June 20, 1964 at Wimbledon, ND. They made their home in Jamestown, ND. He was employed with a propane company for a number of years. He later became self-employed for many years before retiring in 2010.
He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND. Having served our country Larry was a very patriotic man. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving is his wife Betty, Jamestown, ND; his children, Todd (Larissa), Spring Creek, NV, Troy (Tami), Twin Falls, ID, Tom (Kaia), Victoria, MN, and Travis (Michelle), Spring Creek, NV; 10 grandchildren, Dayton, Juila, Daniel, Cy, Noah, Andrew, Jace, Greta, Bryce and Max; and one sister, Henrietta Killeen, Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters, Herbert, Arthur, Emil Jr., Melvin, Pearl, Richard, Darlene and Carole.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Friday, April 1, 2016 in Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Robert Hill, officiating.
Interment will be made in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Haut Funeral Home, Jamestown.
