N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – CHI Carrington Health and Foster County Public Health are currently seeking the public’s assistance in assessing the overall health needs for the community.
The periodic assessment is initiated every three years and will help CHI Carrington Health look at areas that need improvement and the perceptions and attitudes towards community health. Jen Whitman is the Community Health Needs Assessment Coordinator.
According to Whitman, the assessment will take approximately six months and requires help from the community in the form of a survey. Residents in CHI Carrington Health’s entire service area are being asked to take the survey.
Once the data collection portion is complete, they will work with members of the community to prioritize and create an action plan to address the health needs of the community.
The survey is open to residents in Foster, Eddy, Wells, Griggs, and Stutsman County and can be found at www.carringtonhealthcenter.org or at the Foster County Public Health Facebook page. All surveys need to be complete by March 31st.
