CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A representative of Genesis Mediation made a pitch to the city of Valley City to help resolve four grievances filed against Mayor Bob Werkhoven earlier this year.

Spokesman Jim Black talked about how the process would work and how the city would save money by employing Genesis Mediation being it would cost less than litigation.

In January, City Attorney Russ Myhre, City Administrator David Schelkoph, Police Chief Fred Thompson and Police Lt. Dave Swenson filed a grievance against Mayor Werkhoven for creating a hostile work environment.
