N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Schools will be holding a special Long Range Planning meeting at the high school tonight at 8:00 PM.
According to the school, new plans for an elementary school put forth by YHR Partners of Moorhead, MN will be presented to the board. The Foster County Independent reports that there could be more steel in the buildings and a breakdown of construction materials per classroom and gymnasium. The cost will reportedly be lower than before.
If the plans are approved by the board, there could be a potential special public vote in May to decide on the project.
The last vote failed to reach a majority and was one of the largest voting turnouts in the Carrington community. You can read that story here.
More will be reported on this after the meeting is held tonight.
