N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man is facing a drunk driving charge after a fiery crash west of Wahpeton Tuesday.

Richland County authorities say 23 year-old Jacob Silvernail of Wahpeton, lost control of his pickup on County 81 just north of Highway 13. Silvernail rolled the vehicle which then caught fire.

Silvernail was buckled in, but was able to get out on his own. He was taken to the Breckenridge hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He is being charged with DUI.
