CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A pickup traveling westbound on I- 94 lost control on an icy bridge deck and struck the bridge railway on Tuesday, March 8th around 2pm.

No injuries were reported. The pickup towing a trailer stayed on the roadway following the crash.

North Dakota DOT Valley City District Supervisor John Thompson said a concrete barrier will be in place for about two months before a new bridge rail system is constructed.
