E. Blumler, 73, Sanborn, North Dakota passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.  Darlene was born March 12, 1942 in Gettysburg, South Dakota, the daughter of William and Mary (Wilcox) Wagner.  She grew up and attended school in Sanborn.  Darlene married Richard E. Blumler January 29, 1959.  She attended Town and Country Beauty College in Jamestown, North Dakota and earned her diploma in 1970.  She owned her own beauty salon in Valley City, North Dakota, for many years and later on worked various jobs, with the last one being Drug Plastics.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter, Eugene (Gwen Van Hal), Steven, and Christie (Alten) Torgerson, all of Sanborn; two brothers, Maynard (LaDonna) Wagner, Ft. Pierre, South Dakota, and Leonard Wagner, South Dakota; one sister, Delorese (Harry) Vernon, Muscatine, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Richard (Alyssa), Beau, and Noah Blumler, Kaitlen Uecker, Shawn Webb, Ashley (David) Vaughn, and Aubrey Klein; and four great grandchildren, Blake, Brynlee, Micaiah, and Grace.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Raymond Wagner.

Honoring her wishes there will be no funeral service.
