N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Regional Airport has been announced as the North Dakota Airport of the Year.

The award was given to members of the airport at the Upper Midwest Aviation Symposium in Bismarck, which was held March 6th through the 8th. The facility has seen a dramatic increase in boarding’s since switching services to SkyWest airlines and the 50 passenger jet service to Denver.

This isn’t the only award that the airport has received. According to airport Manager Samuel Seafeldt, the Jamestown ground crew were awarded the Quality First award from SkyWest Airlines.

Jamestown is one of only two airports in the state with exponential growth in passenger numbers. The other is Devils Lake.
