N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A teacher at Montpelier Public School’s has been announced as the recipient of a 2015-2016 Exceptional Title I Educator Award.

Heidi Bear was given the educator award by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. As a recipient, Bear is given a grant of $5,000 to be used on any Title I activity in the Montpelier School.

“Heidi has been teaching title I at Montpelier Public School for two years and has made many strides in educating those students at risk.” said Secondary Principal James Bear.

Montpelier Public School is a PK-12 Educational Institution and serves 119 students from Montpelier and surrounding districts.
