CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) This year’s overall winner of the Chili-Off was the North Dakota Winter Show booth during the Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce annual Chili Cook-Off and Community Olympics.

The People’s Choice went to the Valley City Fire Department. The Kids Choice went to First Community Credit Union and the Best Costume was We Care (The Sheyenne Care Center.)

In the Community Olympics John Deere Rudz Rebelz team was the overall winner.

Egg Toss: Barnes County Ministerial, 2nd Bank Forward and 3rd Valley City Fire Department.

Dizzy Cowboy: Valley City Fire Department, 2nd VCSU and 3rd John Deere A team.

Smoosh Race: John Deere Engineering, 2nd John Deere A team and 3rd John Deere Rudz Rebelz.

Outhouse Horseshoes: John Deere Rudz Rebels, 2nd Barnes County Ministerial and 3rd Bank Forward.

Fly Flicker: VCSU, 2nd Bank Forward and 3rd John Deere Rudz Rebelz.

Modified Chuck Wagon Race: John Deere Engineering, 2nd Winter Show Wranglers and 3rd was We Care (Sheyenne Care Center.)

The Spirit Award went to the Open Door Center.
