N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has arrested a man after he was caught speeding, traveling roughly 140 mph in a 75 mph zone.
According to Captain Bryan Niewind, patrols received information around 3:30 PM Friday that a reckless motorcycle was traveling westbound on I-94 at a high rate of speed. Troopers responded and one encountered the motorcyclist, clocking him at about 140 mph. A traffic stop was initiated and the man, 22 year-old Tanner Beighley, was cited for several violations.
Violations include speeding, driving without liability insurance, no motorcycle endorsement, and aggravated reckless driving.
