CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City State University outscored Presentation College 53-32 in the first half in the quarterfinals of the NSAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night.

VCSU shot 19-28 from the floor in the first half and 6-8 from beyond the arc.

The Vikings would go on to win 88-60 over the Saints to advance to the semifinals on Friday.

Georgia Williams led the Vikings with 23 points on the evening, while Lexi Lennon added another 14 points for VCSU.

The Vikings will play at Dickinson State University on Friday, after the Blue Hawks defeated Viterbo 83-49 in their quarterfinal game.
