N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Wildlife, shooting, fraternal and nonprofit civil organizations are being urged to apply for the Encouraging Tomorrow’s Hunters program.
The grant funds will help cover event expenses like event memorabilia, ammunition and targets as well as eye and ear protection. The maximum grant allowed is $3,000 and has currently funds approximately 40 clubs and organizational events and projects.
Groups have used the funds to conduct youth pheasant and waterfowl hunts. Clubs or organizations can get the application or more information at gf.nd.gov or contacting Outreach Biologist Pat Lothspeich at 701-328-6332.
The deadline to apply for a 2016 grant is April 20.
