N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A semi hauling a load of cows tipped on I-94 near Casselton Friday evening.
The highway patrol reports that some of the animals escaped at around 10:00 PM after a semi crossed the median on I-94 and rolled on its passenger side in the ditch. Ten of the cows escaped. Another accident occurred when a car hit a cow on Highway 18. The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
Four cows are still believed to be roaming in the Casselton area.
