CITY, ND – The city of Valley City supports the efforts of the city beautification committee to build an orchard and garden along 5th avenue northeast just north of 9th street northeast.

Committee members Casey Williams and Madeline Luke said a variety of trees will be planted. They said eventually the plants will require no or minimal maintenance.

The Valley City Commission unanimously approved of a memorandum of understanding with the Beautification Committee to move forward with their project.
