N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Elly Milender poked in a rebound goal 4:58 into overtime to give Jamestown a 5-4 victory over Devils Lake Tuesday night at Wilson Arena.

The win was the first for Jamestown since a 4-2 victory over Detroit Lakes on November 28th.

The Firebirds outshot the Jays 53-28, but Freshman goalie Erin Anderson came up huge with a 49 save performance.

Milender scored a pair of goals, her 6th and 7th, Abby Soulis scored her first, Ashlyn Schauer tallied her 2nd, and Haley Schnaidt smacked in her 4th.

Devils Lake sensational 8th grader Calli Forsberg netted a hat trick and now has 20 goals on the season.

Jamestown Wraps up the season on Friday night at West Fargo.
