N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two members of the Jamestown Public School Board have been awarded separate, but high honors for their services in Jamestown.
During the recent North Dakota Association of School Administrator’s Conference, Bob Toso was recognized with the Lifetime Honorary Membership to NDASA. Toso has served in many different areas including the Board of Directors, Teacher’s Retirement Board, Principal in Valley City and ultimately retiring as the Superintendent of the Jamestown Schools.
Current Superintendent Robert Lech stated that nominees for the award go through a review process and Bob was one of two to receive the award, which isn’t given out every year.
Lech stated that both the community and the board were lucky to have an individual like Toso on the board.
Board member Terry Andersen was also recently selected as the 2016 Outstanding Individual of the Year in Jamestown. Lech pointed out that Anderson was very deserving of the award.
Both Terry Andersen and Bob Toso serve on the Jamestown Public School Board.
