N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for the weeks of January 17th through the 28th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the Department had a total of 7 calls in that time period. Incidents ranging from fire alarm activation to a small gasoline fire were reported. January 17th, 5:00PM, ready squad responded to 1510 8th Ave NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-faulty alarm. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

January 18th, 4:32PM, ready squad responded to 500 17th St SE, Buffalo Museum, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.

January 18th, 10:56PM, fire department responded to 156 Sunnyside Trailer Park, to a report of a fire in an oven range. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units by the occupant. Firefighters extracted smoke and investigated. Cause-cooking. No injuries reported. Time out 50 minutes.

January 19th, 8:47AM, ready squad responded to 1425 9th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 55 ppm was detected. Cause-furnace malfunction. Time out 25 minutes.

January 19th, 9:07AM, ready squad responded to 800 23rd St SW, RM Stoudt, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 0 minutes.

January 19th, 9:33AM, ready squad responded to 1308 6th Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 30 minutes.

January 23rd, 1:25PM, fire department hazmat team responded to 424 1st Ave North, Loaf & Jug, to a report of small gasoline spill. Firefighters put down absorbent and investigated. Occupants were told to have the spill area cleaned up. Cause-accidental spill at the fuel pumps. No injuries were reported. Time out 20 minutes.
