N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce held their 85th annual banquet Thursday evening at the Jamestown Civic Center and awarded businesses and individuals with community awards.

The banquet, which features decorated tables representing area businesses, is held annually to honor community members and businesses with awards ranging from Outstanding Citizen of the year to Business of the Year.

The 2016 Young Professional of the Year went to Morgan Bossman. Reverend Terry Anderson was awarded the 2016 Outstanding Citizen of the Year. William Steinmetz was given the 2016 Above and Beyond award.

Other awards given included IDK Bar and Grill for 2016 Business of the Year and the North Dakota Game and Fish Department for the 2016 Continuing Beautification of the City award.
