(NewsDakota.com) The last duel of the 2015-16 regular season for the Oakes High School Wrestling team ended just a few points shy of victory on Monday night. The Tornadoes had a sizable lead to start, but the Linton-HMB Lions rallied for a 39-37 win.

Oakes had Coy Awender (106 pounds), Austin Burgard (113), Logan Sell (120), Grayson Roney (132) and Michael Kelly (285) as winners in their weight classes.

The Tornadoes now head to New Salem on Friday and Saturday for the annual East/West Classic. Coverage on KDDR-AM 1220/95.9 FM and NewsDakota.com will start at 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
