CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Your Farmers Union Insurance of Valley City is Senior Jakob Ashline.

Jakob has been a workhorse on the wrestling team for the entire season.  Jakob had a phenomenal week of wrestling and was the individual champion at 132lbs at the Lisbon “Storhaug” wrestling tournament.

Jakob defeated the #1 132lbs Class B wrestler Andrew Jahnke of Central Cass in the finals 10-2. Jakob is currently the #4 ranked wrestler in Class A at 132lbs and improved his season record to 29 wins against just 5 losses. 

Jakob missed the 2nd half of the last year’s season with a knee injury. Jakob has a great attitude and work ethic that will enable him to finish very high on the podium at the end of the year.
