N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Governor Jack Dalrymple has officially proclaimed January 24th through the 30th as “School Choice Week” in North Dakota.

Dalrymple joins thirty other governors and 230 mayors and county leaders nationwide in the proclamation. More than 30 events are being held in North Dakota to celebrate the week including rallies, round-table discussions, festivals, school fairs and more.

The effort seeks to raise public awareness about school choice to start tens of thousands of conversations about the need for and benefits of education opportunity. National School Choice Week is an independent public awareness effort to shine a positive light on effective education options for children.
