N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With the oil industry in its biggest downturn since the 90’s and an estimated 250,000 oil workers out of jobs, gas prices continue to fall.

The nation has seen some of the lowest gas prices in the last 5 years at the pumps thanks to low oil prices. According to GasBuddy.com, some areas in the US are seeing $1.24 or less at the pump for a gallon of regular fuel. Average North Dakota fuel prices are around $1.73 per gallon.

Jamestown is lower than the national and state average with $1.69 at the pumps.
