(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School basketball team faced yet another ranked team on their home gym, this time on Monday night. Unlike the previous contest a few weeks before, the ranked team rolled past the hometown Tornadoes 70-45.

The hometown Tornadoes were able to rally within the second half due to four consecutive turnovers by the Clippers to pull within 9, but were not able to pull any further.

The #10 ranked Clippers had three players in double figures with Jacob Eberle leading the way with 24 points. Brody Nieuwsma wasn’t far behind, with 21 points to improve the visitors to 10-2.

Oakes (5-7) had a team high 21 points from Ethan Zetocha.
