SD (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City State University had no answer for Donell Minton of Presentation College on Saturday night. 

Minton scored 27 points in Presentation’s (10-9 overall, 2-5 NSAA) 77-73 win over VCSU (16-6 overall, 4-2 NSAA) in North Star men’s basketball. 

The Saints made enough free throws down the stretch to hold off the comeback effort by VCSU. 

Nate Vieira scored a season high 16 points for Vikings and went 3-5 from beyond the arc. 

VCSU returns home on Wednesday against Dakota State University at 7:30 p.m.
