N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A study that will look at the economic impact of arts in the community is coming to Jamestown.
The North Dakota Council on the Arts and Jamestown Fine Arts Association will be participating in the study in five communities in the state in order to see how much the arts affects the local economies. Executive Director of the Arts Center Cyndi Wish stated that individuals attending events in Jamestown will take the survey.
The study will be distributed before events. The survey information will then be compiled into a 2016 summary. The survey will determine potential funding for future events in Jamestown. Wish stated that the Arts Center is a non-profit and they thrive on funding and volunteers.
The results from the surveys will be released in 2017.
