CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Your Farmers Union Insurance of Valley City is Freshman Jaden Oestern.

Jaden was one of the keys in the Hi-liners 40-27 dual meet win vs. Wahpeton on January 12. Jaden normally wrestles at 195lb, however he was bumped all the way up to heavyweight to battle with Wahpeton’s 250lbs Raymond Shaarfenkamp. Jaden was not intimidated by his much larger opponent and earned a first period pin. Jaden currently has a season record of 21-10. 

Jaden is a three sport athlete participating in football and baseball. Jaden  is also a member of the Valley City “A” honor roll.
